Malcolm and Liz McGregor in Niger
The McGregors visit to Niger in August was a great encouragement to our field.
Their Story
They lived 5 years in Nigeria in the 70s and were befriended by SIM
missionaries. These missionaries had a huge impact on their lives.
Eventually they joined SIM in the 80s and worked in Ethiopia for 11
years. During this time they did discipleship and mentoring.
Today many of their former disciples are in full-time Christian service
or high ranking position in the government.
After this Malcolm was the SIM UK director until 2004 when he became the International Director of SIM.

The Tour
While in Niger, the McGregors visited many of our SIM stations and many of our projects. They held town hall meetings in Niamey, Galmi and Maradi.
One of the highlights of the tour was a visit with the church leaders of the SIM related churches.
We also had a special breakfast with the Niamey office staff and Malcolm shared the SIM core values.
