Tchin-Tabaraden

Tchin-Tabaraden is the name of an ancient well that was a social and commercial center for the Tamajaq people down through centuries. Around this well has grown a town. This town is still an important market to many nomadic herders who live in tents in the outlying regions.

For several years now Bruce and Robin Walton have been praying about the possibility of moving to Tchin-Tabaraden. Mark and Kimberlee Wyrick have just finished up their French study and are also planning to join Bruce and Robin.

Tchin-Tabaraden will not be an easy place to live. There is no electricity there and the road is difficult. But as we think of breaking through to the Tamajaq people, this ancient city is very strategic. If the Word of God could take hold in this region, the implications would be far reaching.

Pray for the Waltons and the Wyricks. Pray that they would find suitable housing at a reasonable price. Pray also that the Lord would protect His servants in spirit and in body from the attacks of the enemy who will not give up this region easily.

Because of your prayers,

Steve and Mikki
